Current state of affairs from a biblical view

Jesus is coming back , no doubt about it. The signs are evident in every sphere of every day life. We as God's people are having to face choices every day of our lives and the choices we make will determine if we are heading in the right direction or not. There is more pressure now than ever before to make the right choice. The course of this world is geared toward disobeying God and rebellion in every aspect that represents truth from His Holy Word. We are in this world but not of this world the bible says. Hatred , bitterness and strife is rife everywhere you go. The mainstream media has become the vocal chords of the devil's biggest weapon " Fear" The bible says that because iniquity will abound the love of many will wax cold. God is Love and we are to be vessels of that Love so that the world can see Christ in us the Hope of Glory! Don't yield to the things if this world or get entangled with the affairs of this life. Coll 3 - Paul says set your affection on things above not on things on the earth. Get rid of earthly minded thinking and start thinking like God. Do the opposite of what the world is doing and start flowing with the river of His love.

Be strong in the Lord....

...and in the power of His might. Eph 6:10
There is no doubt that we are living in times of great stress and pressure and it seems as if it is getting worse every day. As the return of the Lord Jesus draws closer we as God's people ought to become stronger and more powerful in the spirit. We are to be continually filled with the Holy Spirit. What God requires from His people is a living relationship, a river that flows constantly with the anointing . There must be a fresh anointing in our lives every day. Without the anointing - no power, and without the power of God in our lives we cannot be effective. The world is dying, everybody is looking for answers and the body of Christ should provide the answers through the power of the Holy Ghost

Faithfull to the end

Over the years I have noticed a disturbing trend amongst believers in the body of Christ. It seems as if many people have the notion that being faithful in attending weekly services is doing God a favour. The Bible says "as He is so are we " This I do know, that God is faithful. We ought to be faithful in everything that we do. When people look at us they must see faithfulness because this is who our Father is. Some people stay faithful for a while and then suddenly they disappear of the grid. When you see them again and ask them what happened, the usual answer is "The Lord told me to leave and join another church" The real reason is actually they got offended and have now officially become a church hopper. You see them a few months later and they have left that ministry as well and still battling with the same personal issues when they started. The Lord never had anything to do with their decision, because if they had consulted him in their decision He would have told them to stay and serve in that ministry and become a blessing. The first sign that there is trouble brewing in somebody's spiritual life, is they start skipping services or the gathering of the believers. No matter how tough it gets on your flesh, always have this attitude to never miss a service. I decided a long time ago to stay faithful in services and attendance
even if I have to crawl through the door and I can tell you
that many times my flesh did not agree with my spirit, but I stuck and pushed through it all. God never disappoints and He always came through for me.This scripture in Heb 10:25 should always be in the forefront of our thinking " not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is ; but exhorting one another : and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." The day is approaching fast and we cannot afford to miss what God is saying right now through His servants. Stand strong, endure and be faithful
